NameDrop is a new feature in iOS 17 that makes it easier than ever to share contact information with other people. With NameDrop, you can simply bring your iPhone close to another iPhone or Apple Watch, and your contact card will appear on their screen. They can then choose to accept or decline your invitation to share their contact information.

Here’s how to use NameDrop on iOS 17:

1. Make sure that both you and the other person have an iPhone or Apple Watch running iOS 17.
2. Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on both devices.
3. Bring your devices close together.
4. On your device, a Contact Poster will appear with your name, email address, and phone number.
5. The other person will see a notification asking if they want to accept your invitation to share their contact information.
6. If they accept, their contact information will be added to your address book.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind about NameDrop:

1. NameDrop only works between devices that are running iOS 17 or later.
2. NameDrop uses Bluetooth to share contact information, so both devices must have Bluetooth turned on.
3. If you’re using an Apple Watch, you can also use NameDrop to share contact information with someone who has an iPhone.
4. If you don’t want to share your contact information with someone, you can decline their invitation.

NameDrop is a simple but effective way to share contact information with other people. It’s a great way to exchange contact information with someone you’ve just met, or to quickly share your contact information with someone you’re working with.

Here are some additional tips for using NameDrop:

1. If you have a lot of contacts, you can use the search bar at the top of the Contact Poster to quickly find the contact you want to share.
2. You can also share multiple contact cards at once by tapping the “+” button at the top of the Contact Poster.
3. If you’re sharing your contact information with someone who doesn’t have an iPhone, you can also share a QR code that they can scan to add your contact information to their address book.
