How to Install ColorOS 12 on Oneplus 8, 8pro & 8T

Oneplus 8

If you are running OxygenOS 11.0.9.9, Just Download the ColorOS 12 CBT 2 and do local update.

Place ColorOS 12 inside internal storage – Go to settings – System update – Tap on Gear icon on the right top corner – Select local update – Select file & wait for Installation to complete: 

If you are running OxygenOS 11.0.9.9 you need to download ColorOS 12 CBT 2 and do local update.

1. Place ColorOS 12 inside internal storage.
2. Go to settings - System Update
3. Tap on Gear icon on the top right corner
4. Then select local update
5. then select file and wait for installation  to complete

Download ColorOS 12 CBT 2 for Oneplus 8

Oneplus 8 pro

For Oneplus 8 pro we need to downgrade the phone to HydrogenOS using MSM tool: Download MSM tool HydrogenOS Oneplus 8 pro

1. Place HydrogenOS 11.0.13.13 file inside internal storage.
2. Go to settings - System Update
3. Tap on Gear icon on the top right corner
4. Then select local update
5. then select file and wait for installation  to complete

After updating to HydrogenOS 11.0.13.13 again do a local update of ColorOS 12 CBT 1,

 Place ColorOS 12 CBT 1 file inside internal storage – Go to settings – System update – Tap on Gear icon on the right top corner – Select local update – Select file & wait for Installation to complete:

For Oneplus 8T we need to downgrade the phone to HydrogenOS using MSM tool: Download MSM tool HydrogenOS Oneplus 8T

3. Tap on Gear icon on the top right corner
4. Then select local update
5. then select file and wait for installation  to complete

After updating to HydrogenOS 11.0.12.12 again do a local update of ColorOS 12 CBT 1,  

1. Place ColorOS 12 CBT 1  file inside internal storage.
2. Go to settings - System Update
3. Tap on Gear icon on the top right corner
4. Then select local update
5. then select file and wait for installation  to complete
