Nokia X100 is the latest budget smartphone from the HMD Global which features Snapdragon 400 Series chipset and Quad Rear Cameras. The brand has held the launch event of the smartphone on Tuesday in the United States, which will be sharing similar internals from the X10 model from the same brand.
The specs of the smartphone and the pricing of the smartphone is little bit higher when it is compared to other smartphone within the range.
Nokia X100 Specifications
The Nokia X100 sports a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G Chipset powers the device along with 6GB of RAM.
The onboard storage of the device is 128GB with expandable storage of up to 1TB with a microSD card. Besides, the device runs on the Android 11 Operating System with Stock UI.
The camera module on the X100 is a quad rear camera ZEISS optics setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary shooter. Besides, the secondary sensor is a 5-megapixel ultrawide lens along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens on the smartphone. The front-facing camera on the device is a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling.
The sensors array of the device feature accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, e-compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Besides, the connectivity features for the X100 include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, FM radio; a USB Type-C port, USB OTG, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The smartphone packs a 4,470mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
Price and Availability
The Nokia X100 comes at a starting price of $252 or Rs.18,700 approx. for the 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Also, the device flaunts in a single color variant called Midnight Blue. However, the device will go on sale from November 19.
Previously, the X10 model from the same brand was launched at EUR 309, and compared to that; this new smartphone is slightly lowered its price but is still expensive for that internals in that range.
