 BTS Ranks No. 1 on YouTube for Hyundai Global Ad Ranking

The K-pop sensations of this New Generation, BTS have reached another milestone by claiming another title as appearing in Hyundai Motor Co.’s Earth Day-themed ad Last year which is now ranking No. 1 on YouTube’s latest World advertising leaderboard. 

BTS featured on this minimalist Hyundai spot, which was released in honor of Earth Day 2020. As part of the Korean automaker’s global hydrogen campaign, the members of BTS were placed in a natural setting. In the ad, they didn’t perform any popular song but devoted BTS fandom aka – ARMY – made an insignificant amount push to the 60-second video on YouTube over more than 105,526,394 views as of now.

The cliché Star power is on its highest form of display elsewhere on YouTube global top 10 ads list which includes on the No. 3 spot Michael B. Jordan which is portrayed as an ideal physical form of Alexa in Amazon’s ad from this year’s Super Bowl. It also scored as the No. 1 most-watched ad on Super Bowl on Sunday in the U.S on YouTube.

Global Ranking for ads list hails from BTS (Hyundai Motor Co.), Egypt (Orange Egypt), India (Oppo, Apple, and Vodafone Idea), U.S (Amazon, Nike, Supercell), Switzerland (My Switzerland), and South Korea (Imagine Your Korea). Overall, 10 ads on YouTube’s global ad ranking leaderboard for 2020-2021 have generated more than half a billion global views to date.
